Meet Our New PR Manager Magdalena Penz

Look no further, we have just the right person for you! We are happy to introduce you to our latest team member at the Austrian National Tourist Office: Magdalena Penz. Magdalena is joining us as our new PR and B2B Manager, taking care of press inquiries and trip planning.
Magdalena is originally from Lower Austria but has been living and embracing London life since 2014. A tourism professional through and through, she has worked her way up from the hotel industry and tour operators to being a destination expert, most recently for an industry association. “The new role as ANTO’s PR manager takes me back to my routes and I am very much looking forward to sharing my passion for my home country with my adopted home, the UK,” she says about her role.
When Magdalena is not busy promoting Austria as a tourist destination, she can be found hiking (most recently in Schladming, Leogang and Gasteinertal valley) or at a traditional tavern, a so-called “Heuriger” in her favourite Austrian region, the Wachau. Things she misses most in the UK? “Austrian food, especially desserts and cakes, and the coffeehouse culture.”
