To start, the 12er KOGEL modern 10-person gondola, the Reservoir Hochalm II with 251,300m3 snowmaking capacity and an innovative piste orientation system are all new for 2019/20.

The key to three premium regions,it allows access to Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier ski resort in Kaprun. This translates to 408km of slopes, 121 cable cars and lifts, 99 huts and mountain restaurants.
About the region
With 270km of pistes and 70 state of the art lifts, there is something for everyone: snow parks for all levels of ability, fun slopes and snow trails can be found throughout the entire area. Beginners nourish their love of skiing on the learning slopes, led by highly skilled instructors from a range of ski schools, while those of intermediate and advanced levels make turns on the wintery mountains and search for untouched freeride slopes. The Nitro Snowpark in Leogang and the Snowpark in Hinterglemm are ideal for freestylers looking to refine their techniques and demonstrate their skills. And, of course, those preferring to ski tour and cross-country are well served by a range of trails in Saalfelden Leogang and Fieberbrunn.
Off the slopes
The resort has plenty to offer to non-skiers too. Enjoy a day on snowshoes, explore the numerous winter hiking trails, or walk through Fieberbrunn's snow-covered forests in the company of fluffy llamas. Horsedrawn sleigh rides with warm blankets offer festive romance, leading up to the idyllic Treetop Path - the highest in the whole of Europe with a panoramic viewing platform. Thrill-seekers will love Leogang's Flying Fox XXL, which reaches speeds of up to 130km per hour, and Timoks Alpine Coaster at the Streuböden middle station. Furthermore, tobogganing can be enjoyed all day and into the night, providing hours of endless fun. From the illuminated run on the Reiterkogel in Hinterglemm to 'Leo's Kufengaudi' in Leogang and the natural run 'Diretissima' in Fieberbrunn, fans of sledging have plenty of choice.
There's nothing quite like some delicious food to refill after hours of fun in the snow. With over 60 options to choose from, there's something for every taste in this resort - whether that's a rustic 300-year-old Alpine mountain hut, a traditionally and cozy cabin or an excluisve high altitude restaurant with high cuisine. The kitchens pay close attention to the provenance and quality of their ingredients, using locally sourced goods to create delicacies such as Kasnocken, Kaiserschmarr'n and Brettljause.

An immense New Year's Eve party will take place at the Doischberg event area in Fieberbrunn, including a torch-lit run and a spectacular firework display.

From the museum to the piste. Ever two years the Pinzgauer folk, along with other vintage fans from across the globe, fetch their traditional skis from the cellar for a very unique race. Participants are expected to show off the winter sports outfits worn by generations past, including lace-up shoes and 80 year old skis.
