Diamond Standard Skiing in Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau

Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau is a collection of enchanting villages with access to over 109km of pistes, plenty of winter activities for families and a hearty serving of Tirolean charm.

The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, with 109km of pristine pistes, is a veritable winter paradise for the whole family. The snow parks on the Schatzberg and the Wiedersbergerhorn, with which freeride fans will fall in love, are playgrounds for all levels of winter sports enthusiasts, from beginners looking to learn the ropes to pros who have been eagerly waiting to test their skills. On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can take to the slopes under the night's sky, with several slopes on the Reither Kogel illuminated by floodlights. At the other end of the scale, early risers will rejoice as the Wiedersbergerhornbahn opens early on Sunday from March onwards for 'First Line Deluxe' skiiers and snowboarders. In addition to skiing, the toboggan runs on the Lanerköpfl in Niederau and the Schatzberg in Auffach can be enjoyed by young and old alike.

This winter, the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau is open from 6th December 2019 until 13th April 2020. One-day tickets for adults range from €44.50 to €49.00, with six-day passing ranging from €221.00 to €245.50. Committed to creating a family-friendly environment, the cost of a child's ski ticket is just half of the listed prices. What's more, from 21st March until 13th April 2020, children born in 2004 or after recieve a free ski pass when accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ski pass of three days or more.

Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau offers two guest cards: the Alpbachtal Seenland Card and the Wildschönau Card, which cover a range of services and reductions. With these, the ski bus is free to use, guided snowshoe walks can be booked free of charge, and the free use of cross-country ski trails is included, to name just three benefits.

This year, the region welcomes two new options for accommodation. Firstly, Die Alpbacherin: a four star boutique hotel boasting brand new, luxuriously modern rooms and suites. The hotel prides itself on its hyper-regional and fresh culinary fare, and guests can relax after skiing in the private spa and infinity pool. In Niederau/Wildschönau, the Hotel Wastlhof, complete with Alpin Lodge, opens its doors. 14 bright and spacious suites provide the utmost comfort and privacy, situated next to the slopes for optimum convenience.
