Birdwatching at Lake Neusiedl
The beautiful steppe lake about an hour's drive away from Vienna is many things to many people: Birdwatchers and nature lovers appreciate the nearby Neusiedler See-Seewinkel National Park with its more than three hundred different species of birds nesting in its vast reed belts - more than anywhere else on the European mainland.
